Giuseppe Aversa - Il Buco, Sorrento<\/h2>

After many years and various experiences in different restaurants with different roles, Giuseppe Aversa decided in 1997 to open a unique restaurant in the cellar of an old monastery in the center of Sorrento. He returned to typical Mediterranean cuisine and created haute cuisine menus, retaining the flavors of the old recipes.<\/p>\n

In 2004, he was awarded a Michelin star, which he still holds today. During these years he also collected many other awards in various gastronomic guides. In Alta Badia, Giuseppe took part in the Chef’s Cup with 26 other top chefs. He is in contact with the most famous Italian chefs, from Cannavaciuolo, Berton, Alfonso Iaccarino, Gennaro Esposito, Alfonso Caputo, Luciano Zazzeri and many others.<\/p>\n

IL Buco has become a point of reference for the most demanding customers who want to experience good food at a high level, without giving up the traditions, flavors and aromas of the classic products of southern Italy.<\/p>\n
