OUR HISTORY

In 1879, the legendary Château Gütsch was built as a private castle. In 1901, the Belle Époque building was given its present striking appearance and has since been used as a hotel.

GÜTSCH FUNICULAR

The Gütsch funicular has been transporting guests up the Gütsch since 1881. It is the oldest railway with two independent tracks still in operation in Switzerland.
